We are Mark and Ash and together we are "YWG to ORD." First and foremost we would like to welcome you to our blog.

A TIDBIT ABOUT US
Ash and I are both grad students who fell in love in our senior year of undergrad. Ash moved to Chicago for medical school and I stayed in Winnipeg to study Cellular Pathology.  We named our blog YWG-ORD based on the international airports in both cities, YWG for Winnipeg and ORD for Chicago.

WHY BLOG
Long distance relationships can be tough and blogging was an idea we both shared as a project we could work on together. Since this was our first time blogging it was touch and go. It took us awhile to get it up and running since we are both head strong and opinionated. Between the indecisive background layout and several attempts at a header image, I think we will settle at this for now.
